Graduating from Bristol University of the West of England in 1996 Sarah worked for 10 years in the NHS rotating through all clinical areas but specialising in musculoskeletal disorders. Having gained in-depth understanding of respiratory and medical conditions prior to specialising Sarah is confident when treating clients with pre-existing and chronic problems as well as a varied client age group.
Sarah worked in semi-professional rugby part time for 9 years in both Union and League, including work for the RFU, developing vast experience in sports injuries and post surgical rehabilitation. Moving into private practice in Horsforth in 2005 Sarah has enjoyed further developing her experience in treating injuries from a varied number of sports including football, swimming, Kung Fu and running, complementing her NHS experience thus managing both sports injuries and general life and work related muscle and joint pains including back, neck and shoulder problems. Sarah is a member of the society of orthopaedic medicine and a Mckenzie therapist to grade C.
In 2006 Sarah started lecturing Physiotherapy students at Huddersfield University but moved on to Leeds Beckett where in 2009 also completing her Masters degree in sports injury and exercise management there.
Sarah balances private practice, teaching and her family as well as trying to keep fit so fully understands life’s pressures and the need to resolve muscle, joint and nerve type problems that limit enjoyment in life or work as quickly as possible.

Naomi has worked as a physiotherapist for over 16 years, specialising in musculoskeletal physiotherapy for 14 years. She has completed rotations gaining experience in treating pre and post-operative orthopaedic conditions and rheumatology. Since 2003 she has worked as a senior physiotherapist for the Leeds Community Healthcare Musculoskeletal Service, where she has gained extensive experience in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal conditions.
Naomi has completed a wide variety of postgraduate courses. She is a qualified acupuncturist and teaches Pilates both in groups and on a one to one basis, having completed her training with the APPI (Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute). She is also a credentialed McKenzie therapist.

Natasha graduated from Bradford University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy. She started her career in the NHS where she completed a comprehensive set of junior and senior rotations at the Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust. Natasha then moved to Mid Yorkshire Hospitals Trust where she developed a special interest in the upper limb. Natasha works closely with upper limb surgeons in the NHS and has extensive experience in both orthopaedic and acute musculoskeletal conditions.
She completes her Master studies this year at Manchester Metropolitan University and has succeeded in becoming a member of the UK Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP). MACP membership recognises an elite level of knowledge and practical skills within the musculoskeletal field. She attends the British Elbow and Shoulder Society conferences annually.
Natasha has undergone extensive postgraduate training in all major areas of musculoskeletal physiotherapy including manual therapy, neurodynamics and motor control programmes.

Helene first came to Leeds as a physiotherapy student in 1989.
She moved to Leeds in 1992 and has worked across Yorkshire, in the NHS and private sector, specialising in the treatment of both sports and neurological conditions, since.
In 1996 Helene gained a postgraduate diploma in Acupuncture from the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapist then based at the university of Nottingham.
From 1998 to 2000 she trained in manual therapies at the university of Coventry and in 2005 she graduated from the Leeds Metropolitan university with an MSc in Sports Injuries and Exercise Management.
Helene enjoys learning new skills and is committed to her professional development. She has attended various courses over the years including the Bobath and McKenzie programmes.
Since 2011 Helene has been the physiotherapist at the West Yorkshire MS Therapy Centre.
Helene's focus as a physio is all about getting people back to what they love doing. She believes that having a good understanding of your injury and a holistic focus of your path to recovery, is the key to great results.
All physiotherapists working at the Sports and Neuro Physio are Members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy ( MCSP ) and registered with the HCPC (Health & Care Professions Council ).
